This website does not currently use advertising or analytics trackers, and sets no cookies for those purposes.
There is no enquiry form on this website, so no enquiry data is collected through a form. You may choose to contact Nexus at the email address shown on the contact page and below. Information you send by email is received by Joachim Ramakers and used to respond to your enquiry, and may also be retained where ordinary legal, security, record-keeping or business obligations apply.
Ordinary email is not a secure or confidential channel. Please do not send sensitive personal or incident information — names of other people, descriptions of incidents, health information or allegations — by email or through any general contact route.

This is the registered business address. It is not an office open to visitors, a counselling location, a meeting venue, or a postal address for confidential information.
Confidentiality in confidential counselling
Conversations with the Confidential Counsellor are treated as confidential. Identifiable information is not shared with management, the board or other parties without the explicit consent of the person seeking support. Confidentiality is not absolute. In an exceptional situation involving a legal obligation or a carefully assessed conflict of duties, disclosure may have to be considered. The nature and limits of confidentiality are explained at the beginning of a conversation. Where possible, the person concerned is involved and informed before any disclosure, and no more information is shared than is necessary.
Any organisational reporting is limited to agreed, anonymised and aggregated patterns that cannot reasonably be traced back to an individual. Removing a name is not sufficient if the circumstances could still identify someone.
Confidential counselling records
Case notes kept for confidential counselling are retained for two years, in line with the professional requirements for LVV-registered Confidential Counsellors, and are then destroyed. These records are kept separately from ordinary business correspondence.
Secure case management
When Nexus provides confidential counselling under an agreement with an organisation, a specialist case-management system is made available through an established partner organisation. The system is configured before individual access begins and is used to manage confidential communications and records securely.
Access is restricted to authorised persons who are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. The commissioning organisation does not have access to the content of individual case files. Records are handled in accordance with the LVV Code of Conduct, the applicable requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the agreements established for the service, including requirements for confidentiality, data minimisation, retention and secure deletion.
The partner provides the case-management infrastructure. Joachim Ramakers remains responsible for the professional provision of confidential counselling through Nexus.
